B. Philip Winder

​A trustee since 2005, and former AUB student (1971-72), Winder is the founder and managing director of Polygon Investment Management; a founder of Zawya, a major source for economic and financial information about the Arab world; and a senior adviser to the Albright Stonebridge Group. His past posts include head of the Middle East Division of Schroder Investment Management, and head of Global Marketing and Sales at Credit Suisse Asset Management. Winder is a member of the Board of Advisors at the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University, and of the International Board of Advisors to the president of Haverford College. He is a graduate of Haverford College (BA ’73) and the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service (MS, foreign service, ’77).​​ ​​​​​​​​​​
