The Office supports the President and Rector in delivering the University's strategy and in the academic and operational management of the University. The Office of the Rector is charged with the oversight of the American University of Beirut Mediteraneo undergraduate and graduate academic programs, curriculum development, program assessment and university accreditation. The office manages provides budgetary oversight for all faculties and units. The office is responsible for leading the formulation and implementation of all university policies and procedures.
