To better serve the people of Lebanon, the region, and the Global South, the American University of Beirut (AUB) is becoming a more global, diverse, and inclusive university. The Global AUB vision, which was developed over three years with stakeholders across the institution and approved by the Board of Trustees in June 2020, will ensure AUB’s future success, relevance, and sustainability for generations to come. It is a far-reaching, ambitious, and very exciting vision of a global American university:
AUB Mediterraneo is approved by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) as a branch campus of the American University of Beirut. All departments and programs at AUB Mediterraneo are accredited by the Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Higher Education (CYQAA).
Current degree offerings include philosophy, politics, and economics (BA); psychology (BS); computer science and engineering (BS); business administration in management (BBA); business administration in digital marketing (BBA); industrial engineering (BS); business analytics (MS); and engineering management (MS).
AUB Mediterraneo is committed to growth, with plans to expand its academic offerings and student body in the coming years — aiming to welcome up to 2,000 students within its first decade.
