Fouad Es-Said
A trustee since 2018, Fouad Es-Said (BA ’96) is the Chairman and CEO of Transmed, a family business founded in 1946 specializing in the distribution of Fast Moving Consumer Goods across the Levant, Gulf, Africa and Europe. After earning his bachelor’s degree, Es-Said worked at Procter & Gamble in finance and sales in Geneva and London before moving to Dubai to join Transmed as an Account Executive. After three years in the UAE, he relocated to Beirut where he served as General Manager of the Lebanese subsidiary. In 2012, following several assignments, Es-Said was promoted to Chairman and CEO and relocated to the headquarters in Dubai in 2020. Generations of the Es-Said family have attended AUB, starting with Es-Said’s grandfather Fuad Es-Said (BBA ’34) and his grandmother Salwa served as a trustee. Fouad Es-Said is also a board member of The Social Welfare Institutions, a member of YPO and is an alumnus of London Business School.
