​International non-EU/EEA/Swiss Students​

To finalize your enrollment at AUB Mediterraneo, students holding non-EU citizenship are required to:
  • Apply for and obtain a student visa (also known as 'Blue Slip'), before coming to Cyprus
  • Apply for a permit of stay for study purposes, once you arrive to Cyprus

How to apply for student

  1. Prepare the documents required to obtain a student visa for Cyprus.

  2. After you have compiled the required documents, share scanned copies with the university for review and further instructions.
  3. Once you are notified by us that your documents are in good order, send the original documents to this address via guaranteed postal service or courier:

  4. Once you are notified that your entry permit has been issued, you can travel to Cyprus.
  5. When you arrive at either Larnaka or Pafos International Airport, you must present the following documents:
    • Passport
    • Copy of the Student Visa (also known as a “blue slip”)
    • Registration letter from AUB Mediterraneo
    • Receipt of payment for registration/tuition fees to AUB Mediterraneo
    • Cash of at least €2,000 (two thousand Euros)

Please note / FAQs

  • Applying for a student visa is a centralized process and it is approved directly by the headquarters of the Civil Registry and Migration Department in Cyprus rather than at the Embassy of Cyprus in the country of residence.
  • It usually takes 4-6 weeks to process a student visa.
  • Student visa requirements vary depending on the country of citizenship.
