This summer, join fellow AUB students in an enriching academic and cultural experience in Pafos, Cyprus! Engage in exciting courses, explore Cyprus’ breathtaking landscapes, and make the most of your summer while earning credits toward your degree.

CHEM 202 – Introduction to Environmental Chemistry

All courses run from June 2, 2025, to August 2, 2025.

Automatic Recognition of credits. Course grades will be reported and included in AUB transcript (Not as P/NP)

How to apply

Applying for AUB Mediterraneo’s Summer Program is simple! Follow these steps:

Submit a Petition by April 11

Reach out to your academic advisor to discuss your interest in spending Summer 2025 at AUB Mediterraneo and finalize your courses.

Fill out the petition Study Away – AUB Mediterraneo (Summer 2024-25) and ensure you include all the courses you plan to register for.

Confirmation Email

Once your petition is approved, you will receive an email notifying you of your acceptance and instructions to proceed with the necessary steps to complete your exchange application.

Once accepted, secure your spot by paying a €200 confirmation fee.

Pre Arrival Steps by May 12

Secure your Tourist Visa (if needed)
Apply for Accommodation
Finalize your travel arrangements and arrive in Pafos in time for the start of the Summer Term

Summer Housing

AUB Study Away students will have the chance to reserve a room in a one of our residences located no more than 10 min from campus. The Housing Office will contact accepted students by providing them with all the relevant instructions on how to apply. Limited Availability – Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tuition & Costs

Confirmation Fee: €200 (paid upon acceptance to secure your spot)
The confirmation fee is a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit applied to the student’s account. It covers health insurance, processing fees, and other university-related costs.

Tuition Payment
Tuition fees for the Summer Term must be settled at AUB Beirut as per the existing agreement. Students should ensure that all payments are processed directly through AUB Beirut’s Comptroller’s office.

Housing Fees:
Housing fees are paid directly to AUB Mediterraneo upon confirmation of accommodation.

Visa Information

Students attending the Summer Term in Cyprus need to secure a visa to stay in Cyprus. To support your application, we will provide a Letter of Invitation and, if applicable, proof of accommodation.
