Alexander T. Ercklentz

A trustee emeritus since 2012 and trustee since 1989, Ercklentz is the former vice chair for finance and treasurer of the AUB Board of Trustees. ​He is a limited partner at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. (BBH). Ercklentz established BBH’s office in Beirut in 1975. He has served on numerous corporate boards and was on the Advisory Council of both the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies and the BMW Center for European and German Studies at Georgetown University. He is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations. A graduate of Yale University (BA ‘59), he attended the NYU Graduate School of Business Administration. ​
