Dr. Christodoulos Pavlou

Christodoulos Pavlou holds a BA in public and business administration from the University of Cyprus (2015), an MSc in enterprise with distinction from the University of Leeds (2016), and a PhD in business and economic studies (management) from the same institution (2024). He has also earned the FHEA accreditation from AdvanceHE in 2023. His research explores how the interplay of social capital, legitimacy and entrepreneurship support influences exclusion in entrepreneurial ecosystems. He has extensive consulting experience having worked with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation (US) and Deloitte (CY). He also has hands-on experience with start-ups and entrepreneurs and has contributed to several European-funded projects, including the development of Cyprus’ social enterprise policy. He was previously a lecturer in business management, strategy, and entrepreneurship at the University of Central Lancashire Cyprus (UCLan Cyprus). He is currently teaching courses in business and economics at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo).​
