Herant Katchadourian, MD
A trustee emeritus since 2008, trustee since 2001, and an AUB graduate (BA '54, MD '58), Katchadourian is a professor emeritus of psychiatry and human biology at Stanford University where he was also the former dean of Undergraduate Studies and vice provost of Undergraduate Education. He is the winner of numerous awards and author of pioneering books including a textbook on human sexuality. His most recent publications are a book on guilt and his memoir. Katchadourian is a former trustee of Haigazian University, and a past trustee of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and president of the Flora Family Foundation. He received his psychiatric training at the University of Rochester, New York.
