Kevin Taweel
A trustee since 2023, Kevin Taweel is the chairman and co-founder of Asurion, the world’s largest tech care provider. He is also a lecturer in management and entrepreneurship at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Mr. Taweel started his professional career in mergers and acquisitions with Salomon Brothers, he then became chairman and president of investment firm Mill River Corporation before co-founding Asurion. In 2001 Mr. Taweel and Asurion co-founder received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award. He is a graduate of the McGill University (BE mechanical engineering ’88) and of Stanford University (MBA ’92).
