Munib R. Masri

A trustee emeritus since 2011 and trustee since 2001, Masri received an honorary doctorate from AUB in 2012. He is the founder and chairperson of the Engineering and Development Group (Edgo) in Amman, Jordan; the founder and chairperson of the Palestine Development and Investment Company (Padico), Ramallah; and a major Palestinian philanthropist who was involved in establishing Al Quds University Investment Fund, and the Faculty of Engineering and Geology at An-Najah National University in Nablus. Masri is a graduate of the University of Texas (BA ’55) and Sul Ross University (MA geology and government ’56). He also received an honorary doctorate from An-Najah National University, 2005, and Bir Zeit University, 2012. ​
