Randa El-Sayed Haffar

A trustee since 2011 and an AUB graduate (BA ‘90), El-Sayed Haffar is a private wealth advisor at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. She serves a select clientele of ultra-high net worth families, family offices, and institutions throughout the Middle East. El-Sayed Haffar previously worked for Citi Private Bank, the Private Bank of Chase Manhattan Bank, Coutts Bank, and the Bank of New York. During her time at Citi Private Bank, she won Citi's prestigious Chairman Council Award for 15 consecutive years and was admitted to their Hall of Fame. In recognition of her civic and charitable work, she received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2024, one of the United States’ highest honors. Passionate about giving back to her region and through her family foundation, the Elmer and Mamdouha Bobst Foundation, El-Sayed Haffar has also supported major Middle Eastern-focused initiatives at Sloan Kettering Cancer Hospital, New York University, Princeton University and a variety of other organizations. She currently serves on the boards of the Harvard Business Review Arabia and The Global Smile Foundation. El-Sayed Haffar is past vice president of the New York Metropolitan Chapter of the AUB Alumni Association of North America. She is a graduate of New York University (MPA ‘95).
