AUB Mediterraneo and Cyta Sign Partnership to Advance Innovation, Research, and Student Opportunities

Pafos, Cyprus – June 29, 2026 – The American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo) and the Cyprus Telecommunications Authority (Cyta) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing a framework for collaboration aimed at strengthening innovation, research, and experiential learning opportunities in Cyprus.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to fostering closer ties between academia and industry while supporting the development of future talent in fields related to technology, engineering, business, and digital transformation.

Through this collaboration, AUB Mediterraneo and Cyta will work together on a range of initiatives, including student internships, guest lectures, workshops, research activities, and social impact projects. The partnership will also create opportunities for knowledge exchange between academic experts and industry professionals, helping bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world practice.
