First Year Student Experience

The First-Year Student Experience (FYSE) is a non-credit required Moodle course designed to support first-year undergraduate students in their transition to university life and to equip them with essential skills for academic success, personal wellbeing, and responsible engagement within the university community. All undergraduate students are required to complete the FYSE during their first year in order to meet graduation requirements.

Delivered through a single Moodle course, the FYSE includes a range of learning activities and guided experiences that address topics such as academic success strategies, time management, academic integrity, ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence, emotional intelligence, stress management, wellbeing, civic engagement, and student life within the university context.
