Biography
Dr. Elena Polydorou holds a PhD from the University of the Peloponnese in Greece (2023), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Frederick University in Cyprus, and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece (2011). She also pursued postgraduate studies in Accounting, Organisations and Institutions at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and completed a Diploma in Compliance and Money Laundering at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Her doctoral research examined the 2013 banking crisis in Cyprus, particularly the role of external auditors and corporate governance in the crisis.
Polydorou is a Special Scientist-Lecturer in the Faculty of Business at AUB Mediterraneo.
