Student Activities, Clubs & Societies 

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) oversees student activities, clubs and societies.  

Getting involved in student activities provides valuable opportunities to develop transferable skills such as event planning, public speaking, leadership, negotiation, teamwork, and goal setting. There is something for everyone taking place every week; join in to try something new, to have fun and make new friends, or to continue an existing hobby! Along the way, you will gain hands-on experience collaborating with people from diverse backgrounds, overcoming challenges, and leading initiatives that create a lasting impact on campus. 

Expand your network and build meaningful connections by joining student clubs, societies, student publications, or participating in student government. Students are also encouraged to bring their own ideas to life by establishing new clubs or societies that reflect their interests and passions.

Clubs & Societies

Clubs

Students are invited to organize new student clubs. The clubs aim to promote student engagement, wellness, leadership, cultural diversity, environmental awareness, community service and recreation. Any current registered student can join an existing student club by reaching out to the Office of Student Affairs. If you wish to start your own club, you must submit your proposal to OSA and once reviewed and approved by the club committee, your club can take part in the annual Club & Society fair to attract more members. 

Societies

A society is a student organization associated with a particular academic department. Any registered regular student of a particular academic program can be a member of the society of that program. Students of other programs can also join the society. All societies will be part of the annual club fair, where students will have the opportunity to join. A society is a student organization associated with a particular academic department. Election for the student council were completed early during the academic year.
